Hi Deepika,

Go to SPRO->Customer relationship management->Basic Functions->Taxes->Basic settings->Assign Tax Groups to SAP ECC Tax classifications(Product). Now check the country IN for the tax classification and Tax sequence. The value which you have in ECC product master won't be available here.

There are two ways to resolve this.

1) Change the customization by adding the new tax sequences.

2) Change the master data by using existing tax sequences.

If you are going with first step, please ensure that you take necessary approvals as it's about taxes.

Thanks,

Faisal

Hi Faisal,

Since the customization in SAP CRM is non modifiable.

Therefore request you to provide more detail for the another alternative of changing master data by using existing tax sequences.

Thanks and Regards,

Deepika

Hi Deepika,

I understand you are facing issues while loading master data. Then, go to ECC->transaction MM02->Take the tax details you maintained and change it.

Thanks,

Faisal

Also, it allows you to create a material with the tax sequence given means, ECC configuration is set so. Then you can propose to the client for the synchronization of tax classification between CRM and ECC. This can be done from development till prod.

Thanks,

Hi Deepika,

Please check the tax customizing for country IN. This can be done by executing the program
CRM_TAX_CUST_VALIDATE in CRM find out what mapping is missing.

Please also take a look at the best practice guide B09.

Best regards
