Payroll journal header - Tax filing status display inconsistent

Our payroll journal header displays field TXSTA from the table TAX, which shows in the report as Married or Single.

However, sometimes the value is blank, even though a thorough examination of IT0210 shows the filing status has been entered for months.  It seems to fall along company code lines, for this company it displays, for another company it is blank.  It does not seem to be related to the number of IT0210 records for the employee.

There are a few exceptions where all will be blank for a company code but a few.  For the exceptions they are blank for a while, and then it will show up for several weeks.

What could be causing this inconsistent display of the tax filing status in the payroll journal header?

Hi,

Could you check if you have some rules written on HR form for header or you have some conditions for retro period settings on payroll journal selection screen.

That may be causing this issue.

Thanks,

Ameet

Thanks for the input.  I figured it out.  It is a tax authority delimitation issue.  If I specify tax authority under the delimitation, it shows up.
