Sap Screen Personas - launch & embed URL issues

Hello,

I am setting up an Screen Personas demo to be shown on a client but I am facing some errors:

I have defined "http://www.google.com/" as whitelisted in SPRO and launching it from a button works fine. By the other hand I have done exactly the same with another url: "http://www.bbc.co.uk/" but I am having the error message 'The entered url is not whitelisted!'.

I also have created a FPM configuration ( http://ides-ecc.agilityworks.local:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/z_fpm_gaf?sap-wd-configId=ZSALES_COMP_C... ) and saved it as whitelisted as well, but when launching the button from Screen Personas i am having the same error message 'The entered url is not whitelisted!.

I am also trying to embed a youtube video within HTML Viewer but I only can see a blank space ( I am using the embed property of this youtube video ).

Can I embed a FPM configuration within an HTML Viewer?

When you whitelist, try using a * instead of the whole, exact address.

http://ides-ecc.agilityworks*

Thank you for your answer.

You were right about using a * instead for www.bbc* but I can not short the webdynpro application url since at the end it has the webdynpro component to be displayed/run. So how can I launch differents webdynpro applications if they share the same server/port ( des-ecc.agilityworks.local:8000 )

I don't think you can launch a Web Dynpro transaction with a standard launch button, but you can embed a Web Dynpro application into a Personas screen as HTML content.

I haven't really experimented with HTML controls yet, so sorry I can't be of more help.

Thank you for your quick answer.

I haved added just an * in spro and therefore I can launch any url with the launch button. Not only www. pages but any webdynpro application.

Now I am trying to embed these webdynpro applications in HTML viewer but I can only see an empty box.

Yes, I logged off and logged on again but still seeing the HTML box.

Do you think is posible to embed a webdynpro application into an HTML box in Screen Personas ?

Hi Cheryl,

It was a problem when running Personas through Internet Explorer. If using Chrome the webdynpro application is embedded and displayed correctly in an HTML viewer. You only need to provide with the URL. That's all.
