Error Message BRAIN:541 - Interactive Reporting

Hello,

I'm activating Interactive Reporting and other reports in CRM Webclient 7.0. Followed instructions of BB C41 but now when trying to test some reports and create new ones, it's retrieving the following error:

  • I:BRAIN:541 /CRMBW/CSAL_C01_Q0001

Well, this error is retrieved with almost every query, when i try to execute it. The query above is related to campaigns.

Some reports or interactive reports created with our own criteria only retrieves this error and say that no results were found.

Also, in RSRT Tcode (in Supressed Messages) the msg text for this error is:

&CAUSE&&V1&

You need to replace variable &V1& from &V2& as a boolean value. It can

therefore only have the values 0 and 1.

Entering (MWKZ = &V3&, WAERS = &V4&, ...) under <LS>Currency/Unit</> is

therefore not advisable. Only dimension = number is allowed.

&SYSTEM_RESPONSE&

The query cannot be generated and executed.

&WHAT_TO_DO&

Change the definition of the variables.&1&

&SYS_ADMIN&

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Search all over for this kind of messages but not many ppl with this error.

Thanks,

Regards,

João Ribeiro

Thank you Arjun for your input!

We've implemented the note 1873747.

It helped avoiding the message BRAIN 541 only.

We had been able to look for the other issues, once the message was eliminated.

Thanks again!

Hi Joao,

Did you already implemented the interactive report on quality/production system?

Is it necessary to open the quality/production system to modifications in order to activate it?

Thanks

Hello Susana,

We can associate manually transport requests to BI Content.

In RSA1>Transport Connection.

But we still have to define new RFC's in the new QAS/productive systems.

We first activate the data sources in BW System in development system, but when we want to transport the BI content to the target systems, these data sources should be mapped with the corresponding source systems and that's accomplished in RSA1>Tools>Conversion of Logical System Names.

In RSA1, when you activate the datasources the system asks how do you want to activate them.

If you select background there will be no transport connection.

If you select instead to activate as dialog there will be a transport connection and the transaction will start.

Hope it helps you out on your problem.

Best Regards,

Hi,

I was able to transport the datasources/infosources to Quality system.

But on transaction BSANLY_BI_ACTIVATION (BI content activation), the contents:

/CRMBW/ACTIVITIES

/CRMBW/CAMPAIGNS

/CRMBW/_FRAMEWORK

/CRMBW/SALESCONTRACT

/CRMBW/SALESQUOTATION

/CRMBW/INTERACTIONRECORD

/CRMBW/LEADS

/CRMBW/OPPORTUNITIES

/CRMBW/OPPORT_SALES

/CRMBW/SALESORDER

/CRMBW/SERVICEORDER

/CRMBW/REQUESTFORCHANGE

/CRMBW/SERVICEPROBLEM

/CRMBW/COMPLAINT

/CRMBW/SERVICE

/CRMBW/SERVICEREQUEST

are all with red status.

How can this BI content be activated here? Can you help me on this? I have no experience with BI structures.

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

I'm not a very experinced guy in BI Structures either.

But what i've done was enter tcode BSANLY_ACT_BUNDLE, select business category "Others" and then with search input help, search for each BI content and activate manually each one.

When you choose "Activate" you have also the option to activate with transport request creation.

Like in RSA1, if you choose activate in background, you won't be able to transport the BI content because the objects are stored locally only.

At least, that was how we've done it.
