How to assign employee to different company code

Dear all,

please guide me on how to assign employee to different company code?

I Have tried org reassignment but not able to do it and getting error as org assignment not permitted

pls guide

I think you are asking about how to assign each employee to different company code?

Can i know why its required?its not possible ....i think to assign differnent employee to give a company code,you can transfer him frm one company to other company code under the same company .

Hi,

Personnel Area (PA ) is assigned to Company Code. By Changing the employee's PA Company Code will also be changed.

Please check the setting in the below mentioned path:

Please make sure your personnel area is listed here assigned to proper company code.

Hi,

Check the Company Code that is attached to the position:

Go to Tcode - PP01 and follow the following steps:

search for the position and select account assignment feature

Try changing the Company Code assigned to the position and check if it satisfied your requirement.

THanks for revert but it's not the query i don't want to change any position's company code but need to transfer employee from one company code to another without changing his personnel number, i have heard tht by changing personnel area i can assign employee to other company code but not able to do so, pls guide

Hi Sheetal,

If OM PA integration is active then it is obvious that position must be assign to new company code.In case of transfer the position will have to change with new company code.However in this case Employee number will not change.
