double check external candidate

Hi there

When we enter external applications, received by e-mail or on paper, we perform a double check for name and first name to see whether the candidate is already registered in the Talent Warehouse.

If the candidate is already registered the double check is sometimes not working the first time. We detected the error because we continued to enter the candidates data (incl. e-mail address) and by hitting the save button the system said that the e-mail address is already registered. We then cancel the process and begin to enter the candidates name and first name again to double check this entries. How ever, the system finally recognizes the candidates name und first name by the double check. Do have any ideas why we couldn't find alredy registered candidates the first time?

Hi David,

Should happen already on the first time. I guess you use the configuartion which enables the dublicate check (own fields at the top and the duplicate button)?

Hi ER,

the duplicate check of the external candidate does happen, however could be verified if the BadI enhancement is been performed to ensure the External candidates are scanned.

Nicole, your are right. We use the configuration with own fields for name and firstname and the dublicate button. Do you have any ideas how to solve this issue?

No further ideas without debugging, sorry. (ERC_C_DUPLICATE_CHECK_UI => COMPONENTCONTROLLER => CHECK_DUPLICATES)

Hi Nicole, we have to analyze again our custom coding to be sure the double check for external candidate works properly.
