Hi SCN-Users
Don't know if I'm in the right place to ask this question.
Last week the whole system-landscape crashed and had to be restored. On saturday all systems were up again. Now there is something really strange happening. In namespace infosystem (SE03) the three systems(DEV, QAS, PRD) have all other languages. For all systems, the language has to be german.
DEV: Tabs are english
QAS: Tabs, buttons and some titles are english
PRD: Everything is german
DEV:
QAS:
PRD:
Anybody know this issue?
kind regards
Lino Imobersteg
Hi,
Sad to hear that such a restore was needed...
The symptoms you described are consistent with a discrepancy between what you have on DB and the information on the instances profiles, namely the parameters:
zcsa/second_language
zcsa/installed_languages
zcsa/system_language

Hi Manuel
thanks for your reply. I will ckeck that and give you reply!
Parameters are now maintained as followed
DEV:
zcsa/installed_languages | DEFICRS1P |
zcsa/second_language | E |
zcsa/system_language | D |
QAS:
zcsa/installed_languages | DE |
zcsa/second_language | E |
zcsa/system_language | D |
PRD:
zcsa/installed_languages | DEFICRS1P |
zcsa/second_language | E |
zcsa/system_language | D |
Hi Manuel
In the meantime i checked the installed languages in all systems. There are more languages installed than set in the parameter. Don't know why this inconsistency happened. Customer sometimes tinkers on the systems with not knowing what he is doing. I will fix that to have the same state on all systems. Thanks for this clue!
Is there a posibility to check parameters over more systems?
regards
Lino
What I meant is if there is a posibility, to check if a parameter has the same value in DEV and QAS?
Not manually I mean. But this is another story...
I checked the behavior after restarting the system, but it doesn't work.
The zcsa/* parameters are all the same value(DEV, QAS, PRD).
Any other suggestions?
I suggest a couple of t-codes to see if something comes out:
Also, go through SAP notes 42305, 73606 and 18601.
Also check on the kernel trace files to something related.
Regards and good luck,
MM
