Hi,

I have gone through same issue.

As mentioned by Mr. Jonathan,  note 1875792 will be helpful if applicable.

Else, if sy-user does not have pernr link then such dump would be generated.

Solution: Please maintain IT0105-0001 system user name for approver or user which is using PTARQ.

Thanks,

Hi All,

I have implemented two different notes "1938465 & 1865665" subject to above reference notes.

No impact; still dump is reflecting.

Hi,

As stated in the note, an "incorrect" request was generated (by missing authorization or else) but this one is still in your list. You have to remove it (and find it first) to solve the issue.

Hi,

You mean to say above two notes are incorrect; however while generated the request the authorization is missing.

Would appreciate; please explain.

Hi,

There was an issue on your system that has generated incorrect leave requests.

You have to clean up the system after resolving the issue.

Do the users have enough authorizations? "When a request is generated, the requestor should have a correct pernr and authorizations to IT0105. Managers should also have correct IT0105 and authorizations for it."

Some checks would be:

  • checking the output of your posting job RPTARQPOST
  • Did you set up the job for RPTARQSTOPWF
  • You can also check errors with program RPTARQERR
  • Check the status of the request in the system:

Status PTARQ

Status WF

Sent

Started

Request submitted by the employee, waiting manager's approval.

Sent

Completed

Approved by the manager

Posted

Completed

WF/Ptarq done + IT2001/2002 recorded

So if a request is closed in the workflow, not reported in the log of the posting job and still in status "Sent", there is an issue with this one...

  • Using the transaction PTARQ, you can delete those "incorrect requests" >> "Delete documents"
  • You can also test some request using transaction PTARQ >> "Test Application"

Hi Dibya,

This because of the prerequisities of the Leave Request.

You can check the note "1875792 - ESS LEA: Dump in the leave request".

When a request is generated, the requestor should have a correct pernr and authorizations to IT0105.

Managers should also have correct IT0105 and authorizations for it.

If any incorrect request stays open for a manager, it will dump because the process is retrieving all his requests.

Jonathan

Hi

You can check in st22 log & find out any particular pernr / leave type / dates is appearing.

Or you can debug the screen while running the program take help of abaper.

Hi,

If it is test system (DEV/QAS), then delete the leave record via PA30 from PA2001, then re-test u r scenario via ESS.

Thanks,

Naresh.
