ESS FSA diplays wrong pretax contrib

Hi All,

We are on ESS Ehp6 and for new hire employees, the FSA pretax contribution amount (per pay) is based upon the entire year.

Example: New Hire with first pay in May.

In ESS it displays (26 pay periods in full year)

1800 / 26 = 69.23

Actual (17 remaining pay periods in year)

1800 / 17 = 105.88

Has anyone seen this issue? SAP takes the correct contribution from the employee in Payroll, but ESS is misleading.

Hi Brandyn,

We were also facing the same issue. The FSA amount in getting calculated, in ESS, using the function module "HR_BEN_ESS_GET_OVERVIEW_DATA". You may need to change this FM or you can create an implicit enhancement at the end of the FM to overwrite the values. This FM is used to display the amount in ESS and doesn't have any impact on payroll. We changed the FM to display the correct value on ESS.
