Hi Experts,

I'm, installing new SAP AS JAVA System using SPM tool. Phase 10 is

failing with error below. Our go-live is soon, please help ASAP.

Error:

An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.3 > Oracle >

SAP Systems > Application Server

Java > Standard System > Standard

System( Last error reported by the

step: Error return code. DIAGNOSIS:

Return code 1 of executable

D:\app\...\product\11.2.0

\dbhome_1/bin/lsnrctl indicates an error.

SOLUTION: For more

information, see log file lsnrctl.log.). You can

now:

Choose Retry to repeat the current step.

Choose Log Files to get more

information about the error.

Stop the option and continue with it

later.

Log files are written to

C:/Program

Files/sapinst_instdir/NW730/ORA/INSTALL/NW730/ORA/STD.

hello,

Did you read the installation guide? When you install oracle 11 you must use the ./RUNINSTALLER script located in /oracle/stage/112*/database/SAP

The path you have as the ORACLE_HOME is out of the standard recommendations. Please also check that the hostname you used for the listener is declared in /etc/hosts file.

# I was albe to resolve listener error. Installation process was creating duplicate listener/sqlnet/tnsnames.ora files in below loaction and was changing original filenames to listener.1.ora. But phase 10 was looking for original files. After changing name from listener.1.ora to listener.ora corrected that issue.

# I had used setup file (application) from below directory to install ORACLE

Oracle installation setup application D:/...../database

I double check but didn't find ./RUNINSTALLER in ..../database/SAP directory.

It looks like the Oracle installation is not done properly.
The ORACLE_HOME should be D:\oracle\SID\11203

Did you consider this?

No issue with ORACLE_HOME, it is already D:\oracle\SID\11203.

error:

--host SCMT119 --port 50004' aborts with return code 108

Hi Sunny,

Please check whether oracle s/w has been installed in your system using ./RUNINSTALLER.

If not perform the same and repeat the installation.

Check the lsnrctl.log and see what it says.
