No metadata exists for "PVTR", when publishing Bex to portal

hi,

When we run any Bex query in theportal or from Bex WAD , we get messages saying "No metadata exists for "PVTR"" alongwith the output of the queries.

Is there a way to suppress resolve this error OR a way to suppress these messages?

Thanks,

CC

Hi,

Can you please clarify regarding what is the SPS level applied to ABAP stack and BW ABAP component and what is the SPS level applied to Java stack and what is the SP level and Patch level

applied to BI Java components.

Also, please refer the following SAP Note:

1645590 - Java/Server SPs dependencies (and SupportDeskTool)

Thanks & Regards,

Sapna

Hi ,

A couple of thoughts from my side, (have read it some where)

SE38 --> SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN , change/add DISABLE_NO_MASTER_DATA_WARNING as X

Else,

Web template property -> Information Visible = OFF

If nothing works fine, I think it can be some compatibilty issue with JAVA/ABAP stack.

Open your WAD and go to TOOLS(on top menu)-->Settings-->Refresh Metadata

Thanks Suman. Tried that, but doesnt work. And wouldnt this be a Portal issue since even the queries published from the Bex query designer show the same messages?

All thoughts appreciated.

Try in RSRT-->Messages button-->You can suppress your type of messages here.

But there is some issue with PVTR variable it seems. You have used it in dropdown web item. Please check the settings of that web item as well. You can try to suppress messages for your whole web template properties. ANyway they are just warning messages. You may ignore them.

Cross check that variable in your Query which is supplying this web template.
