Upgrade Nakisa OrgChart from 3.0 to 4.1

Dear Experts,

We have planned to upgrade Nakisa OrgChart from 3.0 to 4.1.

3.0 is really old version, and we are going to latest now.

We don’t want any customizations just standard OrgChart.

We need your help to know, should we use add-on from upgrade folder or fresh installation folder? Per documentation, if we use upgrade folder then sequence have to follow 3.0 --> 3.0Sp2 --> 3.0SP3 --> 4.0 --> 4.0Sp1 --> 4.1 which means apply add-on 5 times.

Can we apply addon from fresh installation folder of 4.1 version? This will save us alot of time.

we are at EHP5 and Portal 7.3

I think you should be able to do a fresh install, but that is quite a big jump and there were some issues around 4.0 SP1 upgrades.  In all honesty, your safest course of action would be to raise a message on OSS and have Nakisa to confirm the upgrade sequence (hopefully just a one step fresh install) between 3.0 and 4.0 SP1.  It would also be useful to share any recommendation/success/failure on this thread in case anyone else is considering the same upgrade now or in the future.
