Grossup wagetype reversal

Hello All,

We are trying to backout a grossup wagetype to zero out YTD amounts which was intially put on 221 TWEG . Reversing grossup in 221 doesn't seem to be working as expected. System does not reverse everything including net wagetype amount. we have tried YANA and all other subtypes in 221 . Still the amount is off by some amount. Appreciate your help.

Hi Fred,

Usually you need to enter reversed amounts in IT221 with same amount values just signs reversed for same subtype immediately after you have run IT221 for respective subtype.

If its late now means if multiple payrolls have been run and it was identified now that there issue with Gross up reversal. Use YANA and back out every single tax and gross up amount wage type by entering amounts manually what actually should be backed out.

Gross ups does not work well when entered as negative amounts for reversals so tax amounts and gross up wage type needs to be adjusted manually.

What actually should be backed out needs to be in this YANA and it will make your YTD correct.
