Hi Experts,
Can someone please help me in understanding what following UW14 does?
UW14 Splitting WPBP and assigning the split to IT
*
****
ELIMI A Elim.time period ID
WPBPCW Only split WBPB
I have gone through documentation and have read about all option available for WPBPC operation, but I am not sure if I have got it right.
It will be gfreat if some one can help me in understanding them with example?
Thanks & Regards,
Jignya
Hi Jignya,
ELIMI A will initially remove all WPBP splits that exists for wage type.
WPBPCW will be splitting WPBP again for wage types in IT and will assign wage type in IT with same amounts but with number of WPBP splits that may occur due to IT14 wage type amounts input.
e.g.
If IT earlier had wage type 1000 with amount $4,500.00 for first 10 days and $ 3,500.00 for next 4 days from IT8 for bi-weekly period of 14 days.
Also, employee has Wage type 3000 in IT14 with $200.00 for first 2 days, $400.00 for next 8 days and $500.00 for next 4 days.
Now IT will have -
1000 Wage type = $4,500.00 as WPBP split 01
1000 Wage type = $3,500.00 as WPBP split 02
With ELIMI A all WPBP splits of it will be be removed and only single line entry without any WPBP split would be there in IT.
Now system will output IT as-
3000 Wage type = blank as WPBP split blank
3000 Wage type = blank as WPBP split blank
3000 Wage type = blank as WPBP split blank
There are 3 records for wage type 3000 hence wage type 3000 will be processed by UW14 three times.
With WBBPCW, splits will now be restored based on IT14 input of wage type 3000 but this time for wage type that was there in IT i.e. wage type 1000 generated by IT8. IT14 acts as reference for generating WPBP number of splits so in further schema processing wage type in IT14 can be prorated and will be processed accordingly.
Now system will output IT as-
1000 Wage type = $4,500.00 as WPBP split 01
1000 Wage type = $3,500.00 as WPBP split 02
1000 Wage type = $3,500.00 as WPBP split 03
3000 Wage type = blank as WPBP split blank
3000 Wage type = blank as WPBP split blank
3000 Wage type = blank as WPBP split blank
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Ameet
