We've deployed LVM 2.0 to help us manage a landscape of 500+ servers with a mix of ABAP, J2EE and BOBJ components. We're wondering however as to if / when support for BOBJ systems would be offered - let's say from a startup / shutdown perspective. This would also mean allowing LVM to register / recognize a BOBJ cluster the way it does now with ABAP and J2EE stacks.
Does anyone know where in the development cycle this piece is?
Thank you!
Hello Tim,
in this case, you can implement a so-called custom service, which lets you manage (meaning, start and stop) any software component or non-SAP product from LVM. For details, please see SAP Note 1396981.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Dieter
