CLM Workflow Reminders

Dear Colleagues,

In my current project we need to implement email reminders to approvers when they have to approve/reject a document.

Is this a standard functionality in Wave 9 ?

If yes could you please share how to configure this?

The initial message signifying that an approval is needed happens automatically and is part of the standard functionality.  There is no additional setup needed.  However if after X days you want reminders sent that is not standard functionality and would require a custom solution.

thanks a lot for your response. We will figure out how to implement this functionality through a development.

Do you think it's possible to get this with a custom script that runs as a background task?

It is possible to implement a custom script and have it initiated by a scheduled task. This recent feature uses a new script type called explicitly called script and a new schjeduled task type called Explicitly called Script Execution.  This script could search for conditions that require reminders possibly through a query and then send the emails required.
