Hi Experts,
This is regarding one of the SAP script output type we have configured in our 4.6C system.
When we try to send e-mail using that output type from a custom program, a mail is sent if archiving mode is passed as 1 or blank in NACE record.
If archiving mode is 3, no mail is sent.
It is an invoice output and it is being called from a different custom program.
Scenario is as below-
A custom program calls Driver program for invoice output / sap script calls standard function to send mail if e-mail address is paased as -ma -r <email address> in NAST record.
There is not specific logic to send mail in custom part of the code, it is being sent from standard processing only.
Kindly let me know if archiving mode, which when passed as 3, is creating issue while sending e-mail.
Thanks a lot
Mohit
Yep, that's right.
If you choose 3 and not device 1 (print) it is not archived or other ways not sent/faxed.
That mean, if you have a custom driver program you have to take care about the things yourself.
I learned that thing also in a hard lesson just starting a production system years ago
Regards
Florian
