Hi Vinod,

Before you actually start working on the installation please check PAM for support on Suse linux with sybase version.

Refer thread below where some version of Suse linux is not yet certified for Sybase ASE.

Link for PAM : www.service.sap.com/PAM

Hope this helps.

Hi Reagan/Deepak,

Many Thanks for the links and pdf. It was very helpful and informative.

I am looking for 'How to Guide' or any reference guide for complete end-to-end 'SLES-ASE-SAP' installation, starting from setting various OS parameters and mount points till SAP installation

Could you please let me know about any such doc or guide.

Thanks,

Vinod.

The installer should take care of the Sybase ASE database installation.

The OS and the file systems requirements are mentioned in the installation guide.
