SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 SP03-for SAP

Hi All,

We need to install SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1, ECC 6.0 EHP6, EHP5  ,with Sybase database,When we tried to search for SLES11 SP03 specific sap notes we didn’t get any,But 1554717 - SYB: Planning information for SAP on ASE mentions about SLES SP02 ONLY,

Can we install all required products on SLES SP03, also are there SAP NOTES for SAP product supported for SLES 11 SP03 with Sybase database.

Hi Prashun,

Below is the information on certified Suse linux versions for Sybase Database

ASE15.7 is certified on SuSE SLES 11 SP2

ASE15.7 SP120 is certified on SuSE SLES 11 SP3

ASE155 ESD4 is certified on SuSE SLES 11 SP3

But for SAP on Sybase/Suse 11.3 is not yet certified.

You may raise OSS for updated piece of information giving reference of SAP note 1554717 - SYB: Planning information for SAP on ASE

Based on this SAP note the SLES 11 SP3 is supported. But it doesn't clearly say whether Sybase is compatible or not. Possibly yes but you may get the official answer from SAP.
