Export to excel hierarchy file as flat representation

Hi All,

I am using WAD 3.x. The report output displays as hierarchy representation but the requirement is that I have to export to excel this hierarchy file as flat representation.

Please give your valuable inputs to resolve this issue.

Hi Jayasri,

I would recomend you to create a ABAP program and use it to download the information.

You can find out more information in the link:

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/0403a990-0201-0010-38b3-e1fc44284...

Then, execute and select the name of the hierarchy that you would like to download.

Let me explain more clearly,

I do not want to download a hierarchy. As I have mentioned already, the output of report displays in hierarchy format but I want to download this file to excel as flat representation using WAD 3.x. Can you give inputs related to WAD 3.x (i.e)using HTML or java script code.

Do mean your Bex report gets downloaded as it is like rows and columns with result rows?

You need to explain about Flat format..How exactly you want? Please share a sample layout..
