Communication Error in Agentry Server + Non SAP Backend with External Network

Hello All ,

I have communication issue with Syclo Agentry fornt end + non sap backend (MSSQL) .

when i try to connect through internal IP from my company then its working smoothly.

But when i try to connect from external IP  from company it self then

sending clint info

logged in

and

communication error(14)

I dont understand things what i need to change  or tell to network team to change settings .

Can you help me what need to change in external network ?

Kunal,

First, what version of Agentry server and client are you using?

Second, the communication error 14 indicates that the client is unable to establish a network connection to the Agentry server.  This usually indicates one of the following conditions:

1. The Agentry server is not running
2. The server is running but the hostname cannot resolve to a valid IP address
3. The hostname resolves properly but a firewall is blocking the traffic to the necessary port on the Agentry server.

This is a common issue organizations face when devices move outside the network.  You need to make sure that the network routing is permitted between where the device is located and where the Agentry server is located.
