Attachment in Email

Dear All,

We have an issue with one user Browser Settings. User has IE 9 and CRM 7 EHP2

From an outbound email Activity , user is trying to open an attachment by clicking on attachment , System open a NEW Tab but nothing happens after that.

From other Computers, up on clicking on attachment as shown below (IE 9) , we get option to open /save..

I checked some of the browser settings such as (IE Options- Advanced- securiy - uncehck do not save encrypted pages to disk) but in vain.

Also can any confirm if SAP Supports opening of an attachment using Mozilla ?

Dear All,

Even i am facing similar issue.

The attachments under Outbound email are not getting opened,when we click on the attachments a new browser tab is getting opened but we have a blank page.

when we cross checked to open attachments from the service request transaction from the same browser and from the same system we are able to open the attachments successfully.

May I know what is your CRM release and are you using IE10 or IE11?

Is it a ici Email?

Please make sure you have applied following notes.

1606884 - Attachments cannot be opened in the Draft Email
2004767 - Attachment cannot be opened due to semicolon in filename.
1591066 CRM-IC: attachments not displayable directly from IE
1514148 Attachment with EML extension not opened in outlook express
