interface to social insurance company

Hi,

A minimum of sixty (60+) social insurance companies are chosen in our Germany company at the moment,  we are going to implement the SAP HR payroll Germany, and the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) to those SI companies is required , our questions are:

  -  What kind of technology method is suggested ?

  -  If interface is required, how many days should we assumed to fulfill it ?

  -  It is said that a prerequisite for EDI is the KKS (Krankenkassenkommunikationssystem) software from CoCoNet. How can we achieve this ，by signing  an agreement with  CoCoNet first ?

  -  What further information we need to know ?

Hi Viva,

the EDI interface to the social insurances relying con CoCoNet KKS is obsolete since September 2012. The new method requires the SAP Business Connector (or an equivalent module in SAP PI) which acts as a router between your SAP system(s) and the social insurance communication server.

To establish the interface, you have to:

• install the SAP Bussiness Connector (which is also required for communicating with the tax authorities)
• setup the data encryption infrastructure for PKCS#7
• run through the customizing steps for the various data exchange applications: Contribution Statement, DEUEV, Automatic Reimbursement Procedure, EEL.

You can find all these customizing activities in the IMG (SPRO) under: Payroll -> Payroll Germany -> Communication with Authorities (B2A) -> Data Exchange with Social Insurance Agencies -> Data Exchange with Social Insurance Agencies. Basically you have to run through all the steps in this IMG branch, except for those marked as "obsolete" or "old".
