Sap installation issue

Hi,

      I have install sap with the help of VMware workstation. while starting server it is showing invalid credentials.

my laptop is windows 8.1. kindly advise me to getting solved in this problem. is it possible to install sap into windows 8.1?

Hi Priya,

First of all "Invalid Credential" your password of Windows Administrator user or user is not correct, what you have given at the time of installation. (If you have installed Windows OS with the help of VMWare).

You can change Administrator password, if you need help for changing the password of Administrator user, you can search in Google, you will get many blogs to change the password.

And second, it is very much sure, you can install SAP in Windows 8 with the help of VMWare.

Only you need to take care about resources of hardware like Processor, RAM, HD, it should be enough the handle SAP.

Hi Priya,

Please change the Administrator password from control panel for your Windows 8 OS and use the same at invalid credentials screen. Or if the same screen comes in VM WARE machine then you have to reset the password with reset password utility for the perticular OS.

Secondly, You can not install SAP ECC system directly on Windows 8 machine. You can install it via VM Ware but still you have to install any server OS which were supported by SAP in VC Ware also
