Hello Gurus ,
Is there a difference between ECC generated planned orders and APO generated planned orders .
Regards,
Nick
Hi Nick,
APO Planned order will be transferred to ECC as Planned order it will take number from ECC and same refelct in APO.
You can check planned order Number ranges for MRP run go to OMI3 click on planned order rumber range then double click on order type then you will come to know how this number range comes for order type.
Please refer SAP help document for more details,
Integration of Planned Orders - Integration of Transaction Data - SAP Library
If it is different then run /SAPAPO/CCR report in APO you will get the error message . /SAPAPO/CIF182

Hi Nick,
APO generated Planned order can be either SNP Planned order or PPDS Planned order (depending on the heuristics used for order creation).
R3 generated Planned order will always be considered as PPDS Planned order in APO
Also note that Planned order manually created in R3 will always be Firmed PPDS order in APO.

Ravi
