Part numbers allocation issue for DSO change log table after Init load in SAP BI 7.3

Hi,

For one of the DSO change log table, we have an issue in production with Part numbers allocation. It reached the threshold value 9999 and  failing at activation of DSO step.

Till first level DSO i.e (DSO 1) it’s 7.X flow and DSO1 to DSO 2 is 3.X flow. Issue is with DSO2.

1)We have deleted the complete data from this DSO2 and then PART NO is re-set to 2. Same we have cross verified in tables -RSTSODS & RSTSODSPART.

2)We have done full loads from DSO1 to DSO2 and part numbers are started incrementing from 2 and reached 8.

3)After this we have initialized delta from lower level DSO1 to next level DSO2 through infopacakge.

   After init load, again PART NO is re-set to 9910 and it’s started incrementing from 9910 onwards.

After init directly part no jumped from 8 to 9910.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Priyanka,

Have you checked the sap note

2002607 - 730SP12: Maximum partition '9999' reached in PSA/changelog table

Please see if this applies to your case.

Hi Amit ,

Thank you for the reply. To add on to your point after implementing 2002607 - 730SP12: Maximum partition '9999' reached in PSA/changelog table we need to run SAP utility SAP_PSA_REORG_PART_ORA  which will set the partition to 2.
