Universe as a data source not available

Hi,

We have installed Design studio client 1.2 (SP001), Actually we are trying this tool first time, We dont find the option to use Universe as a data source.

I followed the steps.

Do we need to install any other service pack?. Also i did not find the option to connect the server (4.1).

Please let me know whether i am doing the things in right way or missing anything...

Hi Satheesh ,

Did you choose the start-up mode as SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform?

You can find this option under Tools->Preferences->Application Design

In Application Design you choose your Preferred Start Up Mode as SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform
