F16 & F24Q not giving output after activating TAN Based Accounting

Hello Experts,

I have to activate TAN Based accounting for my client from FY 2014 i.e. 01.04.2014.

I have a single company code agaisnt multiple TAN Numbers.

So I have activated multiple form16 as well.

I have done the necessary configuration.On running Payroll,TAN table is obtained with Company code & TAN Number details.

I have also maintained TAN Numbers in IT0185-Subtype 05 for all the employees.

Still,when I run Form 16 & Form24Q,I get the standard message "No valid records exist for this selection".

On debugging,it was revealed that the program picks up SEQNR sequence number field from table T7INTN & compares it with company code.

Since I have 1 company code & multiple TANs,in T7INTN,I have maintained serial number (0001 to 0016) in SEQNR field.

Please suggest how this can be resolved.

Even i am facing the same issue when i am running this 2 Tcodes PC00_M40_F24Q as well as PC00_M40_CMAP.

I would be thankful to you, if you can please assist me on the same.

Dear Shilpa A,

If you have done all configuration for Form16 & also ran 2014 payroll for the employee. kindly follow below screens make sure you will accurate result. If still you are unable to get Form 16 kindly send us screen of which inputs you have given in T.code --> PC00_M40_F16.

Dear Shilpa,

No need to give TAN no just select company code, employee no & Financial year 2014 --> 30.04.2014. now run the form 16.

Do you maintain 40ECC feature? If not, please maintain it by assigning company code and TAN number.

Hi Mohan,

It is not possible to run f16 by company code as that field is disabled post switch activation.

We only have the  option of running by TAN Number.

I would like to reiterate that we have a single company code & multiple TAN numbers

Hi Rabi,

I have maintained feature 40ECC according to Company code -> Personnel Area -> PAN/TAN Number.

TAN numbers are also maintained in T7INTN table against sequence numbers(0000 to 0016).

Please suggest if anything else needs to be maintained.

are you maintain personnel sub area grouping for tax (V_7IN0P_TAX). Please check it.

The issue is resolved.

It was because of a mismatch between master data in IT0185-05 & entry in table T7INTN for SEQNR.

Kindly follow below step

1) PC00_M40_SWCH

2) T7INTN

Maintain your TAN Number

3) 40ECC

Maintain feature with TAN and PAN

4) maintained IT185 subtype 0005 :-maintain TAN for one EE and run his salary for APRIL 2014(For test)

Hi KKS,

I have done all these ,but I have some doubts:

1.I have activated switch TANK.(Switch Group 40TX)

Entries for 40AY & 40TR are not in my system.Will they affect the output?

2.In the INTN Table,the entry MTAN maintained by you in Sequence number column.What does it signify?

Is it company code?

Because I have single company code with 16 TANs against it.

Please suggest.

Hi Shilpa,

1) 40AY and 40TR sld not affect the TAN based report.

2) In Table T7INTN, you can maintain any sequence no.

If everything is done. Then test for FORM16. If it is generating report with TAN based. Then it is activated.
