ESS/MSS WDA no data retrieve

Hello,

I have deployed ESS/MSS on SAP Portal 7.40 - ECC6 EhP7.

To do this, I have installed these BP on Portal side :

BPERPESSWDA1.50

BP MSS ADDON 1.0

BP ERP05 COMMON PARTS 1.61

On backend side, I have activated thes BF :

HCM_ESS_WDA_1

HCM_ESS_WDA_2

HCM_ESS_WDA_3

HCM_MSS_WDA_1

HCM_MSS_WDA_2

HCM_ASR_CI_5

HCM_ASR_CI_4

HCM_ASR_CI_3

HCM_ASR_CI_2

HCM_ASR_CI_1

EA_HR

HCM_NWBC_ROLES

HCM_PD_UI_2

HCM_PD_UI_1

HCM_MSS_ERC_CI_1

FIN_TRAVEL_1

FIN_TRAVEL_2

FIN_TRAVEL_3

FIN_TRAVEL_4

EA_TRV

HCM_ESS_CI_1

HCM_TMC_CI_1

HCM_TMC_CI_2

HCM_TMC_CI_3

HCM_OSA_CI_1

HCM_OSA_CI_2

HCM_OSA_CI_3

HCM_ECM_CI_2

HCM_ECM_CI_1

HCM_HCP_CI_1

CA_HAP_CI_1

FIN_CO_MSSBUA_NWBC

ERP_ENTERPRISESEARCH

I have assigned two composites roles to my user on ABAP :

SAP_MANAGER_MSS_NWBC_3

SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_WDA_3

and two roles on Portal :

com.sap.pct.addon.mss.Manager_Self-Service

com.sap.pct.erp.ess.wda.Employee_Self_Service_WDA

When navigating on my Portal, on ESS menu for exemple, I can see all the sub-menu (My Precesse, Payment....).

When choosing one oh them, for exemple Personal Information, I can see caracteristics (Personal Profit, Personnel File...)  but if I click on one of them, no data retrived, nothing happens.

I have the same issue on MSS menu or when using preview of iView ESS WDA.

Regards

what do I need to do to map user in infotype 105?

In ECC, Run the T-code PA30

-> Specify any employee no which is active (Check with your functional consultant to get personnel no)

-> Maintain the Infotype 0105 with subtype 0001, assign your portal user ID to this subtype.

Then you can view personnel information of this personnel no when you logged on to portal.

Hello,

for example, on this screenshot, when logging with my user, I have this isssue with user INT_GUEST, which is the technical user defined in SICF Services (external aliases) .

I know that my user is not maintained in PA30 but normaly, error message should appear with my user, not with INT_GUEST.

I have this isssue with user INT_GUEST, which is the technical user defined in SICF Services (external aliases)

You have defined this user in SICF service logon details tab ?

And what's the user and user id type your using for portal logon ?

Yes it will show that first error messages when user id is not mapped to any employee number

And second error message it will show when there is no configurations are done for this MSS.

Hello,

yes, INT_GUEST user is defined in SICF service logon details tab.

I use my SAP user to connect (dialog user).

I will ask functional people to make actions necesary in PA30.

Do you talk about "HCM Base Global Manager Self-Service (F09)" (F09_ERP605_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_XX) document?

Is there a special one for ERP607?

if your using dialog user, try to map to existing personnel number in pa30.

And check in ESS -> Personnel information application

It should show all the details.

And for ESS/MSS configurations check with your functional consultant. They will do it.

Hello,

actually, it seems to use technical user defined in SICF Services (external aliases) and not my user, which is mapped correctly.

I don't know why !

Ensure the user is mapped correctly in infotype 105.

Also check if the issue exists when the applications are laucnhed directly from  the PFCG role or from SE80.

If issue persists add screenshots.

Regards.
