Print and email with different forms

Hi, right now we use preprinted dot matrix, continuous NCR forms. We want to print sales orders on dot matrix, but when we email customers copies of their order, we want to use a different form. How can we set this up? It's too much of a hassle to keep changing the default printer, and sometimes we forget. Thanks

Hi

I would add a new UDF to indicate if this document has to print or send by email.

If this field has "MAIL" value I would show only mail fields in the form; and if this field has "PRINT" value I would show only the print fields.

With this you will have one form for both aims.

Hi,

Do you need set-up one form for printing and other form for email?

Try to add default printer for that form by editing PLD under document properties.
