Hi Experts,
For a particular material, the production order start date as per scheduling goes beyond current month for 2 months in the past if the end date is 1 week from now. There are 5 operations.
Example
Operation 10:
Setup = 350 min
Labour = 180 Min
No. of splits =5
Takt time 36 min
Lot size = 600 pcs
We have tried the option of Overlapping and Minimum send ahead quanity of 1, 69, Parallel sequncing' etc but the production order scheduling is not getting shortened.
Is there any setting / configuration that need to be done so that the production order time can be minimized.
Please help.
br,
Ganesh
Hi
Can you check in the OPUZ scheduling parameters whether u have maintained some no of days as Start Date in the Past ? You can remove that.
If you want to keep Order Splitting then refer : http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/502fcc1d-02da-2d10-e389-941a0808f...

Hello,
I suppose the scheduling formula that is defined in the work centers does not account for number of splits of operations. You need to enter number of splits as the divider in processing time formula, and assign this formula to the work centers.
