HANA Installation for B1 Error 255 Permission Denied

Dear All;

I insatlled SAP HANA Database Client 32 and 64 under /usr/sap successfully.

I am now in the process of installing HANA Database Server. I started the hdbsetup, but I got the following error:

I checked SAP Note 1897157 and gave permissions to /var/tmp 0777 as recommended but I am still getting the same above error.

Dear All;

I restarted the installation, but this time I used the iso image dedicated for SAP B1 for HANA.

Using this iso image helped me fixing my issue, and the installation went smoothly as expected.
