Dear friends,
I'm confused, how do I know which version of the NetWeaver is used in my system?
On one of the sites I found information that shows how to know the version of the NetWeaver, that used in the system:
The component SAP_AP version = NetWeaver, is it right ???
Hi Albert,
SAP_BASIS component version implies which NW version is your system installed.
If SAP_BASIS = 740 then you have NW 7.4 installed
If SAP_BASIS= 730 then you have NW 7.3 installed.
Hope this helps.

SAP_BASIS : SAP Basis Component shows Netweaver Release.
and
SAP_APPL : Logistics and Accounting shows ECC version.
Example:
If SAP_BASIS = 731, this is SAP Netweaver 7.3 EhP 1.
If SAP_APPL = 606, this is SAP ECC 6 EhP 6.

Hi Albert,
Check the version of components SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS shows the netweaver version. In case Netweaver products, version is visible in System- status - sap system data - components version like SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.31, in other products above sw components gives the netweaver version.
