Release Strategies

Hi Team,

       I am facing some issue in Release Strategies. Please find the detials in below.

1 - I have created Characteristic.

2 - Then create Class and assigne the Class to Characteristic.

3 - Then assign the class to release group. Then assign release code to release group.

4 - Created release indicator.

5 - Then create Release Strategies. Here I have 3 types of Release Strategies.

1 - For  01 release strategies :

Total net value is <= 1,00 USD.

  :

2 - For 02 release strategies

Total net value is 1,01 - 50.000,00 USD.

3 - For 03 release strategies :

Total net value is 50.000,01 - 2.500.000,00 USD

But when I am creating a PO with net price 60,000.00 USD system is triggering 02 and 03 release code in release strategy tab.Please refer the below screen shot. Where as according to strategy system should trigger only 03 release code for releasing. But rest for other two strategies its showing correct release code i.e. 01 for net price  <= 1,00 USD and 02 for 1,01 - 50.000,00 USD.

Please suggest how to solve this issue.

Hi,

What is your company code currency?

Why you have two value of currency in value release  characteristics?

Keep PO release value characteristics in are following:
<= 1,00 USD
1,01 - 50.000,00 USD
50.000,01 - 2.500.000,00 USD

Now cross check by keeping 01 release code in 01 release strategy, 02 release code in 02 release strategy   and 03 release code in 03 release strategy.Keep only value  <= 1,00 USD in  01 release strategy with 01 release code, value  1,01 - 50.000,00 USD in  02 release strategy with 02 release code and value  50.000,01 - 2.500.000,00 USD in  03 release strategy with 03 release code.

Now with aboe setting create PO and check release strategy in each case.

Its strange..

Your 03 release strategy doesn't has the release code 02, then how can 02 release code is showing for release strategy 03 ?

Does anytime you have assigned 02 release code to release strategy 03 and the delete it ?

I suggest delete the release strategy 03 and create it again with only release code 02..

No, I have never assigned release code 02 to release strategy 03.  I have already deleted and reassigned still 02 & 03 release code are coming like this.

Remove the all other characteristics value from classification..

Just leave the value for "Total Net order Value (USD)".

Then check the same..

Hi,

   I guess it is due to incorrect deletion of release strategy.. Please check in T16FS table what are the release codes exist against the strategy 03.  Both the release codes appearing in the PO will be displayed there.

   If you want to delete the existing release strategy, refer the doc:
