Dear all,

we are on ecc ehp7, and portal 7.4

the employees access the ESS using EP.

we shown the following two screens to the customer:

1. ESS screen from ECC (by launching wda url in ie)

2. ESS screen from portal by logging into the portal.

the customer liked the ECC screen (which are grey) and the icons etc.

He said current portal screens which are blue and are in short font, with little different icons, is not good compared to ECC screen.

we cannot expose ecc url to all employees, they have to access using portal only.

how can we make sure that the portal ess screen looks same as ecc ess screen.

first screen reflect Corbu, and in second screen is portal, Please note portal theme wont be corbu but you can get ESS screen in Corbu theme You need to follow this enabledusing parameter sap-ep-themeroot=sap_corbu SAP Note 1679127 - Transfer style sheets (themes) to Web Dynpro applications. and also, corbu theme is valid for WDA application ie ESS and MSS "Corbu theme is not supported for this application. Please see SAP Note 1681286" 1900836 - "Corbu" theme is not supported Error Is Shown In Login

Hi Madhu,

You can assign SAP_CORBU Theme for ESS/MSS users to achieve the same look & feel.

Please follow the below steps:

Create a portal desktop using Portal Desktop Editor in the SAP Portal and assign it to the

ESS/MSS users using display rules. Activate the CORBU theme for the portal desktop.

For information on how to Create and Edit a Portal Desktop, please refer the following link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/1d5b9d71364269e10000000a421937/content.htm

and for information on Portal Display Rules, please refer the following link:

Its the theme which is making the difference.

Most of the backend apps uses CORBU theme my default and for portal default is not the corbu theme, so due to this u see these kind of differences.
