High Data File Latency I/O

Good Day All,

I'm fairly new to the BASIS side of things and I have a few questions regarding some issues we are having in both our Quality System and our Production System.(ECC)

Currently in our Quality system, after some amount of time, a single File ends up having over 5000ms of latency. The rest of the data files are at sub 30ms.

There doesn't appear to be anything running inside SAP, the server itself seems slightly dormant.

The above screenshots show the data file latency compared to the other files.

And also it shows that out of nowhere, the latency skyrocketed.

We are running this on a completely VM Environment and the storage is a SAN(This is why we have all the data files on the same drive)

Thanks, I can try to provide any other information that I possibly can.

I figure I would see if anyone has experienced this before going into our produciton issue as well.
