BEX - Subtotal question

Hi,

I have 7.x query. In row I have three characteristics (C1, C2, C3).

Target: display subtotal of C1.

When I change to "suppress results row" -> Never. I receive a totals row at the end of result area.

No subtotal of C1.

I receive subtotal of C1 when I cange C2 to "suppress results row" -> Never.

Is this standard BW function?

Yes it is standard behavior. Sub totals come up when you use C1 as 2nd or 3rd char.
