Adapter not working in Data Services 4.1

Hi,

We are facing issues in configuring adapter. When we click on start,  Adapter status shows Starting and status is not changing to Started/Error. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue.

Version Details are:

Data Services 14.1.2.378

OS: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2

WAS tomcat 6

Did you just refresh and check it.... Some time it just doesn't refresh properly... or open the console in a new browser window and check

If you have any possibility of restarting the services, restart them and check....

We restarted WAS and Jobserver. Still the same. Status shows Starting..and it is not changing to Started. and it is not creating any log/Error file.

Stopped job server and deleted Startup_script.xml and did the changes and started the job server and SIA.

now it started.

We stopped job server, SIA and deleted Startup_script.xml(Take a back up of the file before deleting) file. Created a new job server and while creating , enabled adapter communication option. now started SIA and job server. Adapter job server is also started and  new Startup_script.xml file has been created now.
We configured a adapter instance in DSMC and it started this time.
