ESS loading is slow

Hello,

When I login to portal http://$$$$$$$$$.com:50100/irj/portal. ESS takes 10 min. to load.

I checked notes 1576412, 1589132, 1562610 and 1614606.

These notes are applicable to system with old patches. System SID is at higher patch level.

We have EA-HR at 607 level and NW at 731 level.

also can you do a ST12 trace, you would need end to end tracing to check what is going wrong in the system, try HTTPwatch professional tracing along with st12 typically thread dumps with ST12 is good Also, if you have WILY is good

Hi,

Hope you are doing good.

When such issue occurs, only using thread dumps, we will be able to pin point the application that causes more application thread usage. Did you by any chance trigger some thread dumps?  If not, then if the issue occurs again, please create 5-6 thread dumps  with 30 secs interval each for your server. As you would be aware, it is the java threads that are responsible  for the actual carrying out of the server node tasks, akin to the  ABAP work processes.  More info:

Check if there are any locking threads.

Also make sure that enough threads are configured. Please check the
