cProject - SAP PS integration: Settlement to CTR required

Hi All,

We are working on an implementation where a project is automatically created in SAP PS from SAP PPM (cProject) when a project is released in SAP PPM.

There are two problems we are facing:-

  • Problem 1: cProject to SAP PS auto creation fails if we set "Settlement Not Allowed" to Profit. Segment receiver in Settlement Profile (OKO7 T-Code)

We don't want to settle costs to Profitability segment bu instead Cost Center.

  • Problem 2: All the WBS elements are marked as billing elements. We don't want it to be marked as billing elements. Also, as the WBS are set with status MDLK (Master Data Lock), we cannot untick billing element field for these WBS elements using Substitution rule or CNMASS (mass change transaction)

  • Problem 3: After a project is created automatically in SAP PS, we see a settlement rule is created automatically for the first level WBS element. The problem is, this settlement rule is having Account Assignment Category as 'PSG' (Profitability Segment). We need one of the below options to work in this case -

    1. We need settlement rule to be created with 'CTR' (Cost Center) as an Account Assignment Category instead of 'PSG' (Profitability Segment)
    2. We are okay even if settlement rule is not created automatically for the top-level WBS

Any help/pointers/suggestions are welcome.

Additional info: We have maintained some values in "Maintenance View for cProjects CO Scenario" in the path IMG -> Integration with Other mySAP.com Components -> SAP Portfolio and Project Management -> Project Management -> Collaboration Projects -> Controlling -> Create and Change Controlling Scenario

Thanks Niranjan, the said note works!

I was not sure which forum this issue would be addresses in, that's why I posted under three areas (PPM, PS, Controlling)
