Document properties SAP BusinessObjects Infoview

Dear all,

Since January 2014 we are using SAP BusinessObjects as a reporting tool in use with Maconomy from DELTEK, but unfortunately we cannot modify the document properties or report layout with use of JAVA version 7.

Is there a solution available so we can continue using BusinessObjects a reporting tool, or is this a continuous bug?

For BOE XI 3.1, From  SP5 FP3 onwards java 7 is supported.  - see Note 1736762 for more details.

Hi Tom,

Which BO version and web browser version are you using? Seems like BO version is not compatible with Java version.

You can check the compatibility in the supported platform guides which are available on internet.

If it is specific to single machine then uninstall Java --> go to new Webi report --> this will prompt to install Java version which comes along with BO setup. Install this version and check if the issue persists.

To workaround you can try collapsing and expanding the top bar by using the button highlighted in the attached screenshot. It works sometimes.
