wrong calculation in Payslip and Payroll results

Dear Consultants,

My client want to consider Over Time for ESI Basis calculation, I have maintained checked Cumulation class 12 and Processing class 72 as 4 for Over time wage type, In Pay slip OT is calculating for ESI basis as shown in attached pay slip, and the calculation in Payroll Log or Payroll results OT is not calculating for /101 or /112, kindly share your ideas.

This Payslip and Payroll Log results belongs to same employee in the same month, is this calculation correct?

Hi Navesh,

Are you checking Payroll results or in payroll log in TEST run.

Try run payroll in stimulation and check Final RT wage /3E1 and check form.

Thanks for quick reply, I have checked it in Pay results it is giving exact result as per pay slip (correct calculation of /3E1), but payroll log is giving wrong as attached above, it creates any problem ? please do needful.

Are you checking this Production?

If you run payroll now and you are getting wrong values means If you do live run these values will appear in Payslip.

Any how can you tell me what exactly you want ESI to be calculated on

My client has given requirement like Over Time wage type should be calculated for ESI calculation "/112" ESI Basis calculation, so am included as per their requirement.

Hi Navesh,

As you said If you checked cummulation class 12, The amount should add to /112.

In the payroll log is payroll running for one period.

Say If over time wage is on April 2014. Check the log for period 01/2014. And at Final processing RT.

Check for Over time wage is there in same RT table or not.

Send the complete screen shot of log.
