ESS Time Statement PDF is not coming

Dear All,

In ESS Time Statement PDF is not opening for all users in Portal, and this happens suddenly. Earlier it was working fine.

Anything need to be done at configuration level. Please give me any suggestions.

make sure that return value is same in HRFOR feature which they have created in smartfroms like z which ur saying

Let us say: your Z form name = ZHRTIMESTATEMENT

HRFOR feature return value must be ZHRTIMESTATEMENT as shown in above screenshot.

ZPAY_TIME_STMT is the ZFORM name and maintained in HRFOR feature.

Did you check whether the Data (Time evaluation Results) available for those employees. And make sure you have Acrobat reader installed in your system.

And answer Jyothi with your Browser type.

try once IE 10 OR 11 versions , by default adobe reader setting will be there in those versions

In ECC it is working fine, even PDF also opening. And one more thing, it is working for some users and not coming for some. and I am using IE 8.

if it is so do the authorization trace why it is not coming to that particular users only once

Once check in SU53 (Authorization check) for respective username immediately after accessing Timesheet from Portal. You can find missing authorizations.

P_HRF_INFO (HR: Authorization Check InfoData Maintenance for HR Forms)

P_HRF_META (HR: Authorization Check Master Data Maintenance for HR Forms)

Assign the authorization objects in the existing role or create new role in T-code su01 or PFCG.

They created ZFORM(smartform) for this and assigned in HRFOR feature. Any specific settings for this to get this form.

Hi Venkat,

Please check whether the Zform has been activated correctly and in backend R/3 check you have ran time evaluation and test that whether you are able to generate Time statement in PT61.

As Said by Shankar please check the Feature HRFOR in PE03 and see that in RCLAS you have maintained your Zform 'Timestatement'.

Replace the Zform with the standard form "SAP_TIMESLIP" and check whether you are able to see the data.

By Changing to std form also it is not coming. Same is opening in ECC using HRFORMS tocde.

If authorizations are not assign, how it could be opend in ECC?

can u check the authorization trace once , first check with working employees and chk again with for employees which it is not working you can know if any authorizations are missing , which browser ur using I suggest you to use IE 11

Did you maintain the feature HRFOR.

can you place full screen shot of that time statement application, under the Time statement overview tab.

Assign the role SAP_EMPLOYEE_ERP in ECC side for this user id in t-code su01.

It should come. if the form name is maintained in HRFOR feature.

you assign the SAP_ALL profile for that user id in su01 t-code once and check it.
