Hi Kamal,

This note steps will no validation that the user actually enters a value and the message will be created even if this 'required field' is left blank.

Any other way to validate the enter a value also?

Hi Karthik,

Please check:

1353553 - Opportunity: Behavior of mandatory fields in Web UI

Please check steps even if this note cannot be implemented. Follow the steps provided in above note.

Also check:

1931783 - Incident can be saved without filling mandatory fields

1772650 - ST710:You can save a message even though mandatory fields are not filled in

Thanks

Vikram

Hi Karthik,

Apart from my last reply.

By default, what could be controled is only that, when a mondatory field is empty, you could use flag NO_SAVE_MAND_FIELDS to prevent the order from being saved.

In other cases, if you need to prevent a transaction to be saved, you need to to some own coding in BADI ORDER_SAVE and raise DO_NO_SAVE event there. Please refer to Note:1519171 How to prevent saving the document in CRM.

Thanks

Vikram
