Need your help in Adding and Configuring Excel Adapter on BODS ( Linux )

Hi,

You need to create an adapter in the DS Management console (in adapter configuration) called: BOExcelAdapter.

For exact steps, please consult the designer guide section (To create a Microsoft Excel workbook file format on UNIX). SAP Data Services 4.2

I am not seeing anything for Adapter Configuration on Management console, to create/add new Adapter...

Go to adapters in management console. You would see a list of adapters on right including the Excel Adapter. Open the excel adapter and configure a jobserver to it.

Enable adapter and SNMP communication to a job server, then you can see adapter instances in management console. Once you get the Adapter instances link, then you can configure MS Excel Adapter

Excel adapter is installed at the time of Installation itself. You have to configure that in the management console.
