Hi

After the execution of PIR deletion transaction in the sequence MD74 ,MD75 and MD76, we still find some PIR present in the system.

Please suggest if this can be deleted or do we have some condition which prevents the deletion of the PIR

Thanks

Hi

MD74 Only deletes requirements which are unused and not consumed by Customer Orders. For The PIR;s which are still shown in MD04 , check if those are already assigned to some customer order in MD 73.

Please check whether you have Kept Test Run as marked .It should be unchecked .Now , this depends on the Key date you are entering reference to requirement date .It only delete the PIR till Key date .

Basically , MD74 - deletes only the PIR

MD75 - deletes only the history created against each PIR

MD76 - mass deletion with history

If you want to delete old PIR then obvious choice is MD75.

However for any old PIRs you want just to change them and not to delete then you can go for MD74.

After running MD74, the planned quantity is set to zero.

After running MD75, it will delete the withdrawal quantity in the schedule line.

Easyest way will be using MD62.

Hello

Please read carefully the following note, which describes the PIR reorganization in detail and, under which circumstances the PIRs are deleted:

135807 Reorganization of planned independent requirements

The following information is provided about transaction MD74, and may be helpful to you:

MD74 (RM60RR20): Adjusting Requirements:This transaction consists of

    two parts:

    a) Adjustment (reduction) of all planned independent requirements

scheduled quantities to the amount of (customer) requirements

assigned. If no requirements are assigned, the planned quantities

       are set to zero.

    b) For all inactive requirements (these have no requirements

assigned), the schedule line records are deleted from table PBED

if the 'Delete inactive requirements' flag is set on the

       selection screen.
