Transaction Number is Not Available or Archived

Dear Experts,

In Solution Manager 7.1, while setting a Request For Change to  "Validation", users are getting this message:

"Transaction with the transaction number 'xxxx' is not available or archived."


Can you all please tell me how to prevent this from happening?  We do not want the requests for change archived.

Hi Tiffany,

Check if transaction type mainatined in DNO_CUST04?

Do you have any screenshot of the error?

Hi Vikram,

I've attached a copy of the error message.  I checked DNO_CUST04 tcode and I see that the transaction type for the request for change is maintained for the following fields w/ sequence number 1:

CHANGE_REQUEST

CHANGE_REQUEST_NEW

Have you maintained Transaction types in DNO_CUST04?

Also check RFC maintained in BCOS_CUST table. Check if you have maintained it correctly or not.

Hi Tiffany,

The issue should be resolved after the ICM cache is cleared in your system. Please check this.
