How to exclude change numbers from sync units

Case: you have a group bill of material with many change numbers implementing different engineering changes.This group BOM has been synchronized to say a plant PL01. We decided to move the production of this material from plant PL01 to another plant PL02. This move is only relevant from a certain date (=change number). We don't want to move older changes as they can contains obsolete components.

If we can't exclude older changes we need extension of obsolete components to the new plant PL02.

How can create a synchronization unit to synchronize the group BOM to the new plant PL02 excluding older change numbers?

Hi Andre,

I asked my experts in Consulting and the most viable option for you would probably be to work with the Change Master status filter within the sync unit definition, meaning to filter out all Change Masters in the transition that are no more active (so past changes Change Number Status should be "inactive").
