Copying infotype text from a date to another

Hi,

I was wandering if there's a way to copy the infotype text from one date to another. For exemple, if i have a infotype text on infotype 0008 and then copy that infotype the text is not coming along.

Is there a way to do so?

Sébastien

Hello Sébastien,

You would need to implement a badi/user-exit to do so.  Look at badi HRPAD00INFTYDB and its method in update.  You might catch the "copy" operation there and use the class CL_HRPA_TEXT_CLUSTER to read and update the infotype record with the text (coming from the text cluster).

I'm using PA30 to insert the infotype text (F9) and then use the Copy button. Everything is copied except the infotype text.

You want to change the Info type Text or any Field Text in Info type, can you paste the screen shot here.

PA30 with the F9 button for infotype text

Then Copy button

And the infotype text disappear on the next screen

It's the same patern for each and every infotype.
