Considerations while Upgrading to SRM 7 EhP3

Hi Gurus

Can someone share their learnings and experiences while upgrading from SRM 5 to SRM 7 EhP3 from Functional point of view.

Is there anything in particular that needs to be carefully looked at.

Is the upgrade guide provided by SAP is good enough to be followed from Functional perspective or do we need to keep other things in mind while upgrading.

Any light on the topic is most welcomed.
